UGA SBDC to Present at March Third Thursday Business Builder

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce, along with State Bank & Trust Company, will host the Third Thursday Business Builder at the Chamber office on Thursday, March 16. The event begins at 11:30 am and lunch is provided.

Governor Nathan Deal has proclaimed the third week in March as GEORGIA SMALL BUSINESS WEEK – March 13-17, 2017. Small businesses are encouraged to attend our Third Thursday Business Builder to gain valuable tools, training and resources to help small businesses grow and succeed. The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center will present “Small Business Ops: Your Future Plan” and provide information and tips for efficient and effective small business operations.

Featured presenters include Eric Frickey, Consultant for The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center, and Rebecca Kruckow, Program Coordinator at The University of Georgia Small Business Development Center. Topics of discussion will be:

• What does an existing business need to grow?

• Does your business have the capacity to grow and are you ready to meet the needs of a growing business with your current financing strategy?

• How to analyze your business for growth with bookkeeping strategies

The Small Business Development Center’s goal is to enhance the economic well-being of Georgians by providing a wide range of educational services for small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs.
