She went to college with an eye towards a career in medicine. Then she took a few business courses to pad her resume' for medical school admissions applications---and fell in love with the business world. Today, she is still operating, but not on sick or injured patients. Amanda Joye Clements is "operating" the super-successful C&C Automotive West Augusta location as its manager. (She is also the company's corporate Vice President.. "Amanda has always had a mind of her own---a very smart mind---and a lot of drive and discipline," smiles her proud father, Aaron Clements, who owns both C&C Automotive locations. "So it didn't really surprise my father or me when she expressed a desire to launch and run our first expansion effort. And she has done an amazing job from day one." C&C Automotive is a Certified Premier Provider in the CSRA HOME CONNECTIONS Program, a subsidiary of CENTURY 21 Larry Miller Realty.

Just recently, Amanda---who holds a Bachelor's Degree in Biology and Business from the same school---earned her Master in Business Administration degree from the Hull College of Business at Augusta University.  And she accomplished this challenging task while managing the C&C Automotive location on Wrightsboro Road near the intersection with Jimmie Dyess Parkway, as well as honoring her  community and industry commitments. "I consider the MBA program at Augusta University a great educational program, with innovative professors and a relevant curriculum for today's business leaders' needs," explains Ms. Clements. "And I would like to congratulate my

other MBA classmates graduating this semester as well." Amanda Clements has also received a degree from the Automotive Management Institute.

Amanda and her father are in the exploratory phase of possible future expansion in the Augusta metropolitan area. "We would like to eventually expand our operations to be closer to members of our loyal customer base who live and work in areas that are not so close to our to current shops," reports Ms. Clements. "So the more we know about automotive technology and today's best business management practices, the better we will be able to serve our customer throughout the CSRA."
