Friday, September 23rd, 2016

Jim Hudson is presenting a donation of $30,000 to the Golden Harvest Food Bank in Augusta. This contribution is part of a combined gift of $200,000 to local food banks in the regions where the Jim Hudson Automotive Group serves.  A matching grant from Lexus also contributed to this fund.

Golden Harvest representatives will be on hand for a brief check presentation to be held at their facility at 3310 Commerce Drive in Augusta at 11:00am on Monday, September 26th. Members of the media and general public are welcome to attend the short presentation.

“We believe that we have a responsibility to give back to the areas we serve,” explains Mr. Hudson.  Golden Harvest is affiliated with the “Feeding America” national network, fighting to end the food insecurity which threatens children’s development. This is the fifth year in a row that the Jim Hudson Automotive Group has offered a gift to the food banks at this level, demonstrating an ongoing commitment to families in need.
