The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce Member Economic Luncheon, presented by Augusta Magazine, will be held Tuesday, June 13 at the Augusta Marriott at the Convention Center. The luncheon begins at 11:30 am and will feature the Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch Awards, presented by Mayor Hardie Davis Jr., with a keynote address by Jennifer Bonnett, a state leader on entrepreneurial development.

The Augusta Metro Chamber, in partnership with Augusta Magazine, is pleased to showcase 10 of Augusta's most outstanding young professionals at the June Member Economic Luncheon. The Top 10 in 10 Young Professionals to Watch was developed in 2009 by the Augusta Metro Chamber to annually highlight ten young professionals (age 25-35) in the Augusta Region. The Top 10 will be featured in the June issue of Augusta Magazine, and the Chamber nominates these top young professionals for Georgia Trend magazine’s 40 under 40. In recognizing these individuals, the Chamber aims to expand recognition for Augusta’s young professional talent throughout Georgia.

Keynote speaker Jennifer Bonnett, Advanced Technology Development Center, Georgia Tech, will discuss "Building an Entrepreneurial Tribe.” Jennifer Bonnett is the General Manager of Advanced Technology Development Center at Georgia Tech. Ms. Bonnett leads ATDC's programming on campus and throughout the state. She is a technology entrepreneur with 20 years of experience in information technology and software development, specializing in Web and mobile.

She is also the Chief Chick and Founder of StartupChicks.

Tickets for the luncheon are $35 for Chamber members and $45 for prospective-members.  Advanced registration is required. To register, call the Augusta Metro Chamber office at 706.821.1300 or visit AugustaMetroChamber.com. Deadline to register is Wednesday, June 7.
