Augusta Metro Chamber President to Serve on GACCE Board

The Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives recently announced its 2017-18 Executive Committee and Board of Directors.  Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce President Sue Parr is pleased to serve as the First Vice Chair/Secretary for the GACCE Executive Committee during the 2017-18 term.

Sue has been an active member of the GACCE Board of Directors for many years, most recently serving as the Second Vice Chair/Treasurer, and holds a Certified Chamber Executive and an Institute for Organizational Management designation. Sue became President of the Augusta Metro Chamber in 2005 but has been involved in chamber work for several years prior to her moving into the top spot.

The membership of GACCE consists of Chamber of Commerce executives and staff, as well as those members of business and community organizations who are directly interested in or allied with Chamber of Commerce work in Georgia. GACCE has a long and distinguished history of serving chamber professionals in the state of Georgia. The organization exists to advocate the role of the local chamber of commerce in economic and community development and to provide GACCE members with exceptional services in the areas of professional development, information and networking opportunities. GACCE currently has 143 Chambers as members and 22 Associate Members.
