TaxSlayer Gears Up for Rapid Growth by Expanding Senior Leadership Team

TaxSlayer, a leading online and professional tax and financial services technology company, announced that it has hired three new members of its strategic leadership team as it continues to invest in the growth and expansion of the company. Chris Panagides, Head of Digital Marketing; Marcella Garner, Director, Project Management Office; and Josh Gaudin, Head of Strategic Alliances and Enterprise Partnerships, have joined TaxSlayer to focus on accelerating the company's product and marketing strategy ahead of an expected busy tax season. The three new senior hires will work out of the company's Augusta, GA headquarters.

Over the last 12 months, TaxSlayer has made several strategic senior hires to accommodate the rapid growth of its business, including Chris Moloney, Chief Marketing Officer. The company will soon announce local job fairs and hiring initiatives for nearly 300 local roles it plans to fill during the tax season of December through April.

TaxSlayer is also being recognized for its marketing efforts by the Gramercy Institute, the leading network for senior marketers from the world's top financial institutions. TaxSlayer has received a Financial Content Marketing Award for its American Tax Education campaign, which ran earlier this year. Khemari Cook, Director of Marketing, was also named a Rising Star in Financial Marketing by the Gramercy Institute. With the recent hiring of a Chief Marketing Officer, the company plans to build on its marketing success and further establish itself as a leading technology company across the tax, legal, bookkeeping, and HR/payroll sectors, in addition to supporting efforts around the TaxSlayer Bowl.

Leading TaxSlayer's digital marketing efforts, Panagides will oversee the execution of online strategy and customer acquisition through media buying, digital partnerships and web optimization. Panagides joins TaxSlayer from Identity Guard in Washington D.C. and has over 15 years of senior-level marketing experience managing multi-channel customer acquisition and retention marketing programs, digital marketing strategy, marketing operations, and analytics programs.

Overseeing TaxSlayer's project management efforts, Garner will provide an enterprise-wide approach to identify, prioritize, and successfully execute the portfolio of initiatives and projects that are aligned with the company's strategic goals and vision of an innovative and affordable tax preparation service. Garner joins the company from Martin Marietta in Raleigh, NC, where she held numerous senior roles over the past 10 years focusing on PMO strategy.

Gaudin will lead TaxSlayer's partnerships and alliance's strategy, leveraging the company's products to align with cutting edge companies and associations that are seeking to offer their employees and customers a secure and stress-free experience. Gaudin joins with more than 15 years of global sales and marketing partnership experience, most recently with Textron Specialized Vehicles.
