Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Monday, January 29th, 2018

Augusta Regional Airport has collaborated with Augusta Animal Services to hold a Pet Adoption Day on Friday, February 2nd.

Augusta Animal Services recently announced their plans to renovate their current facility. This renovation requires them to create available space to house the emergency cases they receive.

AGS has offered to host a pet adoption day, Animal Adoption at the Airport, to assist in finding forever homes for multiple dogs and cats. This event will be held on Friday, February 2nd from 11:00 a.m. through 6:00 p.m. on the outside, south end portion of the Augusta Regional Airport’s Main Terminal building.

All dogs and cats are $25 and have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, brought up to date on shots for their age, had a general deworming, and are registered (if the adopter lives in Richmond County). All dogs have been heartworm tested.

Airport parking is free for the first thirty minutes. All of those who adopt an animal will receive free parking.
