The Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to announce that Augusta’s River Region has garnered national media attention as a direct result of current ACVB public relations efforts.

Ryan Reed of the Travel Channel was hosted by the ACVB during the 2018 Masters Golf Tournament. As a direct result of this visit, TravelChannel.com recently published Reed’s article, “What to See and Do in Augusta, GA: A 24-hour guide to the Garden City,” featuring local attractions such as Augusta’s own New Moon Café, the Partridge Inn, Augusta Museum of History, Book Tavern, Phinizy Swamp Nature Park, Bodega Ultima, Augusta Canal Heritage Center, Arsenal Tap Room + Kitchen, Sheehan’s Irish Pub, Finch & Fifth, and the Soul Bar.

TravelChannel.com has a viewership of 9,422,136 generating an ad equivalency of $113,065.63.

A pillar of the ACVB mission is directly linked to the cultivation of both regional and national media coverage in order to highlight the city’s attributes and enhance the region’s economy by positioning the city as a preferred visitor destination.
