Committee Discusses How to Capitalize on James Brown Connection

The city of Augusta hasn’t “scratched the surface” of attractions it can create around famed singer and hometown legend James Brown but there are several ideas floating around, including a trail that would highlight areas of importance to him downtown and in nearby areas, officials said at an Augusta Commission subcommittee meeting Wednesday.
