The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce welcomes Will Williams, President and CEO of Economic Development Partnership, as the Guest Speaker for this month’s Good Morning North Augusta breakfast, presented by AT&T.  The breakfast will take place on Friday, May 18th at 7:30 AM at the Palmetto Terrace Ballroom in the Municipal Building located at 100 Georgia Avenue.

Will Williams is a member of several organizations, including The SC Economic Developers Association, The Greater Aiken Chamber of Commerce, The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce, and the Aiken Technical College Foundation.  Mr. Williams has more than 18 years of Economic Development experience in various capacities.  Economic Development is a critical aspect to any community’s survival.  It creates targeted programs and activities that leads to a community’s economic wellbeing and improved quality of life through a diversified economy, the creation and retention of jobs, and the rise of the local tax base and local wealth.  The main focus for Friday’s breakfast is: What attracts industries to the Greater North Augusta region to make all of the aforementioned possible?  Specifically, what does Aiken County have that makes it a great location for industry growth?  What can the community continue to do to be successful?  Mr. Williams will be discussing economic planning, business development, and quality education that helps create a sustainable community to achieve economic wellbeing and an overall improved quality of life.
