City Government Vacancies Keep Growing

Mayor King Hardie Davis was out of town when the ax fell on City Administrator Janice Jackson and General Counsel Andrew MacKenzie two weeks ago, and he was in Houston last week, where he was sworn in as president of the African American Mayors Association. So we can expect him to be out of town even more than ever during the next 12 months, traveling to cities all over the country. Therefore, Augusta taxpayers should be thankful he only wanted a Chevy SUV and not a Lear jet.
