New Angel Investor Group Coming to Augusta

VentureSouth, one of the largest angel investment groups in the United States, is pleased to announce that it is adding to its profile in the CSRA by creating an affiliate group in Augusta. An interest meeting for local investors will be held on April 23, 2019 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at theClubhou.se’s offices in the Georgia Cyber Center, 100 Grace Hopper Lane, downtown Augusta.

Co-hosted by theClubhou.se, VentureSouth’s local directors Peter Buckley and Paul Newsom, along with VentureSouth managing director Paul Clark, will lead the meeting, which is limited to accredited investors and their advisors. Financial planners and wealth managers may bring an accredited guest or client. 

“We’ve been very pleased with the success of our Aiken group and are excited about pulling in investors from the Augusta community to support an already growing entrepreneur ecosystem in the CSRA,” said Clark.

Leaders of local VentureSouth groups possess a broad array of business experiences and skills they bring to bear in helping to screen and evaluate potential portfolio companies. They also serve as a valuable resource for guidance and advice to entrepreneurs and their businesses once an investment is made.
