Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Tuesday, April 30th, 2019

Mike Ingham, a new State Farm agent, has chosen Broad Street in Downtown Augusta for his new branch.  The expected opening date is June 1st, and he will be serving the entire metro Augusta area, while also focusing on the unique needs of the business and the medical districts.  “I am super excited about being downtown. I was born and raised in Augusta. I went to school here, got married, am raising my family here, and this is such an exciting time for our community with all that is being developed and revitalized. It's been awesome preparing to open this business and be a part of preserving Augusta's history while building our future."

The Mike Ingham State Farm office, at 1126 Broad Street, will be a one-stop shop to help the metro Augusta community manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams. Mike's personality and character really set him a part from just an average, run-of-the-mill agent. He and his team thrive on cultivating authentic and life-giving relationships, meeting tangible needs in a life-changing way, and helping neighbors move toward financial freedom and empowering them to live full and generous lives.

“I can’t think of a better location for State Farm,” said Jonathan Aceves at Presley Realty, who handled the lease of the space.  “We’re continuing to see national firms looking for space in this market that a few years ago wouldn’t have considered downtown Augusta as a viable location. Mike Ingham, an Augusta native and AU alum, hopes to leverage his ties with the university to bring about meaningful internships for college and grad students to develop them into future leaders in our community.
