Doctors Hospital Pediatric Care to Hold Halloween Safety Event

“Halloween all about fun and safety awareness is important for parents and children make sure they avoid accidents or injury,” says Doctors Hospital Trauma Medical Director, Dr. Christopher Hogan.

Doctors Hospital Pediatric Care is hosting a Trunk or Treat: Halloween Safety Event on Saturday, October 26 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Participants will be able to join in fall fun and festivities while visiting trunks with interactive games, playing in inflatables, having their face painted, painting pumpkins and more.  The event is free and open to the public, costumes are encouraged.

The Richmond County Marshal’s Office will be on hand to provide Ident-a-Kid cards, the Columbia County Sheriff Bike Patrol will provide bicycle safety tips, the Augusta Fire Department and Gold Cross EMS will have Touch a Truck displays.

In the event of rain, the event will be moved indoors.
