ARTS Invites You To Help Plan Regional Transportation Projects

Staff Report

Wednesday, March 4th, 2020

The Augusta Regional Transportation Study Metropolitan Planning Organization (ARTS MPO) invites the public to participate in a round of community meetings throughout the region during the month of March 2020. The public will have an opportunity to provide important input on regional transportation priorities for the next 30 years. All community members are invited to review, discuss, and share thoughts about funding priorities and goals for the region’s highways, road maintenance, public safety, public transit, aviation, bike and pedestrian, and multi-use trails. With jobs and population projected to grow exponentially over the next thirty years in the Augusta GA – Aiken SC Metropolitan region, a resilient multimodal transportation system will be crucial to sustain anticipated growth.
