Update on the The Salvation Army COVID19 Response

Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Friday, March 20th, 2020

In their continuing efforts of creating a safe and healthy environment for both staff and guests, The Salvation Army of Augusta will be closing the Kroc Center and both Family Stores beginning March 18. They will be working to reopen on April 1. Their decision to temporarily close follows the recommendation provided by local health officials. During this brief pause, The Salvation Army will be working hard to deep clean and sanitize their facilities to ensure a great reopening. This will ensure steady work and no lapse in income for The Salvation Army's faithful team members.

The Salvation Army of Augusta is currently in need of bottled water, hygiene items, unused towels and bed linens, food, and cleaning supplies. Monetary donations are always the best way to ensure that they are able to purchase items as they are needed.
