Local AUSA Chapter Hosting the Former 15th Sergeant Major of the Army

On Thursday, November 19th, 2020 8am – 9am our chapter will be hosting the former 15th Sergeant Major of the Army, Daniel Dailey, January 30. 2015 to August 9, 2019at our free Monthly Morning Briefing. SMA Dailey will speak about soldiers story where they have the opportunity for riveting thrill-seeking experiences, world-wide adventures, leadership challenges, and emotional roller-coasters. Join us as the 15th Sergeant Major of the Army, Daniel Dailey, highlights his journey climbing the leadership ladder to the top of the U.S. Army and continues to do so as the AUSA Vice President of NCO/Soldier Programs. He will share his own lessons learned on how to build successful teams and make a positive impact on others, while also sharing the Army's new initiative, "This is My Squad" (TIMS). 

SMA Dailey joined the staff of the Association of the U.S. Army, where he serves as Vice President of Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier Programs. He was sworn in as the 15th sergeant major of the Army on Jan. 30, 2015, and relinquished the position on Aug. 9, 2019. In addition to four tours in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom and New Dawn, Dailey deployed in support of Operations Desert Storm and Desert Shield. He earned the Bronze Star with Valor for his leadership during the 4th Infantry Division’s two‐month Battle for Sadr City in 2008.
