Technology Association of Georgia Announces New 2021 Board Leadership

The Technology Association of Georgia (TAG) Corporate Development Society is pleased to announce the appointments of new leadership and members to their 2021 Board of Directors.

  • Ned Hill, continues as Chair. Mr. Hill is Managing Director of the Technology – Venture Banking Group at Signature Bank.

  • Christy Brown appointed Vice–Chair. Ms. Brown is President of LaunchPad2X, a nonprofit supporting female entrepreneurs. Christy has 20 years of executive leadership as a founder, venture capital investor and executive leader spanning multiple geographies and industries. Most recently, she led the Atlanta expansion of venture capital investment platform Loeb Enterprises.

  • New Directors (4)

2021 Highlights
The Corporate Development Society had another successful year with a record nine (9), high-quality, live webinars with senior executive participation nationwide. Programs provided insights on timely topics to include: Royalty-based financing for SaaS companies; Intellectual Property with the Georgia Intellectual Property Alliance (GIPA); Healthcare technology investing; Black founders & funders; and SPAC (Special Purpose Acquisition Company).

The Society’s annual ‘CXOs’ signature event featured SaaSOptics, an Inc. 5000 fastest-growing company and a TAG ‘Top 10’ innovative company, which raised over $18M in Venture Capital.

TAG also recognized 2 former Society Chairs and current Board members: Jim Forbes (2020 Society Impact Award Honoree); and Marc Borelli (2020–2021 Chair Emeritus Council ‘CEC’).
