Gary Gibson, owner of the Gary's Hamburgers local restaurant chain, recently announced that his firm had acquired the former WifeSaver property at 116 North Belair Road in Evans. "Our market research and experience both indicate this will be an excellent location for our next Gary's Hamburgers restaurant," explains Mr. Gibson. "We are busy updating and remodeling the facility in addition to expanding the parking space here in Evans, with an eye towards opening sometime this winter." Gary Gibson anticipates adding15-20 full-time and part-time employees to staff the new restaurant.

Gary Gibson opened the first Gary's Hamburgers restaurant at 410 Georgia Avenue in North Augusta 30 years ago, in 1984. Gary's Hamburgers offers fresh, handmade, USDA-Certified Angus chuck burgers, a large breakfast menu, chicken strips, salads, hot dogs, desserts, and more.

They're open from 7:00 A.M. until 9:00 P.M. seven days a week.
