House Passes Bill to Ease Some Wall Street Regulations
Thursday, January 15th, 2015
The House Wednesday passed a bill to ease nearly a dozen Wall Street regulations, the latest legislative effort to roll back provisions of the 2010 Dodd-Frank law.
The House voted 271-154 to pass the measure, which included a controversial delay to a provision stemming from Dodd-Frank requiring banks to sell stakes in certain complex securities.
