Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Tuesday, December 15th, 2015

Augusta Regional Airport has turned into a winter wonderland! As holiday travelers make their way through the terminal they will see the sights and sounds of the season. There will be holiday performers, hidden elves, and Santa will be stopping by for a few visits!

Starting on December 14th entertainers will be performing in the gate area of the Airports’ terminal building at the busiest times during the day! These local entertainers are part of the Airports annual Holiday Performance Series and will be performing through December 23rd.

Santa will be making special visits to the Airport on December 21st, 22nd, and 23rd from 9:00-11:00. Stop by to get your picture taken as well as receive a special gift from Santa!

There is also a rumor that AGS Staff have seen 11 of Santa’s scout elves through the main terminal and the General Aviation Terminal! You can try to find Romeo and Juliet along with 9 of their elf friends!

“The Holidays are a special time for everyone and the Airport loves to celebrate the season with the community and the traveling public,” said Gary LeTellier, Interim Executive Director for the Airport.
