Augusta Metro Chamber Announces 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year

The Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce announced its 2016 Entrepreneur of the Year today at the December Member Economic Luncheon. The award was presented to the Ellefson Family, accepted by Brian and Nyles Ellefson, with Ellefson Transportation Group.

Owned and operated by three generations of the Ellefson Family, the Ellefson Transportation Group (ETG) has over 50 years’ experience in the transportation and relocation business. Established in 1967 in Augusta, Georgia, after the organization relocated from Charleston, South Carolina, ETG is in the transportation, logistics, storage, relocation, records management, shredding/recycling, and portable container rental business. ETG is the parent company for ADSI Moving Systems (agent for United Van Lines), ACME Moving and Storage, Augusta Data Storage, and Augusta Portable Storage Inc. (agent for Go-Mini’s Portable Containers). Approximately 90% of ETG’s business is conducted here in the CSRA.
