Join the Augusta Metro Chamber on Tuesday, April 17th at their Women in Business luncheon, presented by Spherion, for an inside look and panel discussion on the Red Carpet Tour Augusta Showcase. Guest speakers include Sue Parr, President/CEO, Augusta Metro Chamber; Lessie Price, Manager of Community Relations & Government Affairs, AECOM; Jessica Hood, Executive Director, Development Authority Burke County and Phil Wahl, Augusta Area Executive, SVP, Security Federal Bank.

The Annual Red Carpet Tour Augusta Showcase, a partnership between the Georgia and Augusta Metro Chambers of Commerce, Georgia Allies, local development authorities and private sector partners, coincides with the April Masters® Tournament to host top executives from around the world for a fourday look at the state's thriving economic climate. Since 1959, tour guests have created approximately 15,000 jobs and invested over $3.2 billion in Georgia.

• Sue Parr leads the Chamber’s strategic efforts in advocacy, community and economic development initiatives. Sue is a member of the Rotary Club of Augusta, sits on the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau Board, and currently serves as First Vice Chair / Secretary for the Georgia Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives.

• At AECOM, Lessie Price is responsible for building strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in government, academia, environmental, corporate and civic organizations. Ms. Price has served Aiken’s City Council for 28 years and sits on the South Carolina Tourism and Lower Savannah Workforce Development boards. She was recently re-appointed by the Secretary of Energy to serve on the Department of Energy-Environmental Management Advisory Board.

• Jessica Hood has worked in economic development in the state of Georgia for over 10 years. Jessica is currently the Committee Chair for Sponsorships for the Georgia Economic Developers Association, and serves on the Waynesboro Rotary Club board as Secretary.

• In addition to 30 years of banking experience, Phil Wahl is actively involved in the Augusta community. He currently serves as Chairman of the CSRA Citizens Review Panel for the Transportation Investment Act of 2010, and of the Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau.

The April Women in Business luncheon will be held at the Legends Club and begins at 11:30 am. Tickets
