Tuesday, June 4th, 2019

Augusta Regional Airport (AGS)  is thrilled to announce the resumption of daily direct, non-stop, service to the Ronald Regan International Airport (DCA) beginning January 7, 2020. The community can begin booking these flights as early as today, June 3, 2019.

“We are so happy to restore direct air service between Augusta and the Washington D.C. Capital Region,” said Mr. Herbert Judon Jr. Airport Executive Director. “Since my arrival, the community has spoken loud and clear regarding the necessity to regain this service. Washington D.C. is our top destination and critically important for local customers.

This flight will create efficiencies and savings for our partners in cyber, military, the private sector, and leisure travelers.  This is just another on-going step to deliver a more diverse air service portfolio for the region.”

‪”On 3 March of this year, Augusta Regional Airport established a strategic partnership with American Airlines that provided direct daily service from Dallas-Fort Worth to Augusta. Today that strategic partnership takes another major step forward as direct service from Reagan National Airport to Augusta will begin in January 2020. I commend the leadership of Director Herbert Judon and the entire Augusta Regional Airport team that worked with American Airlines to make this direct flight possible. As Augusta quickly becomes the Cyber Capitol of the nation, investments like this create a gateway to the world for the military, businesses and citizens throughout the region,” said Mayor Hardie Davis.

The schedule for these flights are as follows:
