Join the Augusta Metro Chamber of Commerce on Wednesday, May 1 at the Augusta Marriott for the first Member Economic Luncheon of 2024. Gretchen Corbin, President & CEO of the Georgia Lottery Corporation, will be discussing the direct impact the Georgia Lottery has on Georgia’s Economy. 

As president and CEO of the Georgia Lottery, Corbin’s business goal is to fulfill the Corporation’s mission to maximize revenues for HOPE and Pre-K, ensuring that Georgia’s students continue to have access to these important educational programs.

Under Corbin’s leadership, the Georgia Lottery has provided five years of returns over $1 billion to the state of Georgia, including last year’s $1.516 billion for Georgia’s HOPE Scholarship Program and Georgia’s Pre-K Program. Since inception in 1993, the Georgia Lottery has returned more than $27.6 billion to the state of Georgia for education. More than 2.1 million students have benefited from HOPE scholarships and grants, and more than 2 million 4-year-olds have attended lottery-funded Pre-K.
