TV Star Patrick Warburton to Speak at The Salvation Army Annual Event

Press release from the issuing company

Friday, February 27th, 2015

Patrick Warburton stared in the TV sitcom Rules of Engagement and leapt into pop culture consciousness on the hit sitcom Seinfeld and has since then steadily found his deadpan comedic talents in ever-greater demand.  Sponsorships are available now for An Evening With Patrick Warburton at The Salvation Army’s annual “Doing The Most Good” event on Wednesday, May 13th, 7:00PM at The Salvation Army Kroc Center.

Warburton's acting roles often rely on his deep, booming voice which he contributed to characters on the animated shows Family Guy, Hercules, The Emperor's New GrooveThe Bee Movie and Buzz Lightyear of Star Command along with commercials and video games. He starred in FOX's short-lived series The Tick, in which he held the title role.

Warburton had guest spots on such shows as Murphy Brown, Designing Women, Quantum Leap and Dave's World. But it was not until he appeared in the 1995 episode of Seinfeld that Warburton really started to attract attention as David Puddy, Jerry's lunkhead mechanic and Elaine's on-again, off-again boyfriend. Warburton quickly became a popular semi-regular, involved in a running joke about his frequent breakups and reconciliations with Elaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus).

With his squinty eyes and hard-boiled detective's voice, Warburton has become a humorous personality who can generate laughs with almost no effort, whether onscreen or in voice-overs.

The “Doing The Most Good” Annual Event will take place on May 13, 2015 at The Salvation Army Kroc Center (1833 Broad Street, Augusta) in the theater. Seating is limited to event sponsors and table hosts. Sponsors will also be invited to a special VIP Reception with Patrick.
