Augusta 'Underwater' Homeowners Lower than National Average, Report Shows

When it comes to owing money on a home, few Augusta area residents are in over their heads.
That’s according to report released Thursday by national real estate analyst RealtyTrac, which says homeowners in the Augusta-Aiken area are no more likely than the average American to be upside-down on their mortgage.
