Local Banker Honored by Georgia House of Representatives

Dan Blanton, CEO of Georgia Bank & Trust and chairman of the American Bankers Association, was honored on Feb. 5 for his leadership in the banking industry.
The Georgia House of Representatives passed a resolution, HR 1073, this week to honor Blanton. The bill was sponsored by Representatives Barbara Sims of Augusta, Greg Morris of Vidalia, and Charles “Chuck” Williams of Watkinsville.
