Get Ready, Super Heroes!  We are running to make a difference in the world.  Grab your capes and amazing super hero costumes, and let’s fight against hunger together! WJBF –TV6 & The Salvation Army Turkey Trot team up again for the 4th annual Turkey Trot 10k, 5k,  and 1 mile Family Fun Run on Saturday November 19, 2016 starting at the Kroc Center. Runners register online at: www.itsyourrace.com.

Your business can be a sponsor of the Turkey Trot and with WJBF-TV as our co-sponsor; the Turkey Trot gets plenty of media attention. Sponsorship packages include a booth at our community Health Fair. For more information on sponsorships contact John Sebby at: 706-434-3177.

New at the Turkey Trot - the Barney’s Pharmacy Health Fair! Includes health screening vendors on site, along with sponsors and vendors booths. Plus, bouncy houses, art & craft activities for children.  This fun, festive, and family-focused event will have superhero activities for everyone.

The 10k course has been certified by USA Track & Field and serves as a Peachtree qualifier. Prizes will be awarded for the best dressed Super Hero costume runners!   

Don't forget about the Mascot Invitational, where your favorite mascots compete for the Gravy Bowl, in a lively foot race! Local mascots are encouraged to join us for the mascot fun run. Turkey Trot proceeds support The Salvation Army’s mission of fighting hunger as we celebrate 125 years of Doing The Most Good in greater Augusta. A great event to support the fight against hunger & homelessness and stay healthy too!
