Building on Success of Local Event, Snowfest in Flagler to Raise Money for Nonprofits in Florida

Tuesday, February 28th, 2017

Snow in December will be coming soon for residents of Flagler.  Snowfest, founded in Augusta, Georgia, will have its first event in The Sunshine State in December.

In Augusta, nearly 15,000 people attended Snowfest breaking the previous attendance record by far. Most importantly, the event raised over $20,000 for two local nonprofits.

“Snowfest has become an exciting event for residents in Augusta and we look forward to duplicating the success in Flagler,” said Joe Mullins, CEO of Mullins Management & Entertainment. “We are working with area stakeholders and nonprofits to create a special event for the area.”

Snowfest in Flagler will feature a full day of live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, inflatables, a large carnival area, climbing wall, trackless train, kid’s karaoke on stage and showcases from local schools. And to get everyone in the chilly winter spirit, the event features snow tubing slides. The event will also feature the popular costumed Snowfest friends and characters.
