As the Chamber’s official statewide prosperity agenda, the “8 for 18” priorities addresses eight of the state’s most pressing economic issues. The initiative proposes areas of focus to improve the quality of life and business climate across the state. Additionally, it serves as a legislative strategy to advance economic prosperity and inform political candidates on issues of importance to Georgia’s business community.
 
In anticipation of the upcoming elections, the Georgia Chamber of Commerce issued its eight-question Statewide Candidate Assessment to Gubernatorial and Lieutenant Governor candidates.
