Local IT company Premier Networx has made the 2018 list of the fastest-growing companies in America by Inc. 5000. The list, which is put out annually, has featured major companies including Microsoft, Timberland, Vizio, and more. Premier Networx was ranked at number 2301.

“It’s truly an amazing accomplishment for myself and my employees,” said Premier Networx CEO Chad Harpley. “I didn’t start this business for special awards, I started it because I saw a need for a reliable IT company. However, this recognition makes me feel like we’re doing something right.”

Inc. 5000 selects the companies on its list based on a company’s revenue growth from 2014 to 2017, as well as employee growth. In order to qualify, businesses must be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit, and independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies. Other businesses ranking on the 2018 list include Peloton, Brooklinen, and PopSockets.

Premier Networx will be recognized at the Inc. 5000 Conference and Gala in October in San Antonio, Texas. Professionals from Mailchimp, Panera Bread and more are scheduled to speak during the event.
