On Friday, May 10, more than 225 Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS) executives, senior leaders, work group managers and Aspiring Mid-Career Professionals (AMP) members gathered at Cedar Creek Church in Aiken, S.C., for the sixth annual Leadercast live streaming event.

Leadercast is the largest one-day leadership event in the world. Broadcast live from Atlanta, Ga. to hundreds of locations around the world; Leadercast brings together some of the most recognized and
respected global thought leaders to create a one-of-a-kind leadership training experience.

“The event was very engaging from start to finish,” said Caroline Reppert, SRNS Emergency Management. “In the increasingly connected world we live in, sometimes we can fall short of making lasting connections with others. It was valuable to examine road-tested strategies from the elite Leadercast speakers who have successfully led teams in highly challenging and complex environments.”

This year’s event included nine leadership and emotional health experts from around the world speaking about the key skillsets and tactics needed to lead a healthy team.

“My vision for this year’s Leadercast was to create a fun and energetic environment where everyone felt comfortable to engage and be inspired,” said Natalia Johnson, SRNS AMP President. “The AMP community is extremely fortunate to have this level of support and engagement from our executive team and senior leadership. Leadercast is a unique opportunity to meet new people, engage in discussions and gain the perspectives of senior leaders.”

Sponsored by SRNS, AMP serves SRNS full-time employees who have between seven and 20 years of work experience, offering professional development and networking and community outreach opportunities for their members.
