Senator Thompson currently serves as the chairman of Homeland Security, Military, and Veterans. He also serves on the Appropriations, Banking and Financial Institutions, and Finance Committees. In the past few years, he has been passionately working on cyber security related legislation including the Ga. Cyber Center, The GBI crime lab, and many others.
