Augusta Regional Airport Partners with Delta Airlines and the American Red Cross to Hold Multiple Blood Drives

Augusta Regional Airport is partnering with Delta Air Lines and the American Red Cross to hold two blood drives at the main terminal of Augusta Regional Airport from 1:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. Blood centers all over the country run short on all blood types several times throughout the year. Through this partnership, the community will have three opportunities to be a donor.

All donors will receive free Airport parking, a $5 Chick-fil-a meal voucher, $10 Target gift card, and entered into a drawing for a $50 Shell Gas card. Please register at www.redcrossblood.org and enter DELTAAGS in the sponsor box to sign up and to view tips on preparing to give blood.  

Delta has partnered with the American Red Cross since 1941 and is the second largest corporate donor of blood in the U.S. and largest in the southeast as well as an Annual Disaster Giving Program (ADGP) participant at the $1 million level, allowing the Red Cross to be strategic and proactive in its disaster response.  

The American Red Cross is a humanitarian organization that provides emergency assistance, disaster relief, and disaster preparedness education in the United States.
