The Salvation Army Begins Hurricane Relief Efforts

Staff Report From Augusta CEO

Wednesday, September 4th, 2019

With Hurricane Dorian moving closer towards the coast, The Salvation Army of Augusta has begun preparing to support evacuees. They will be providing meals to three local shelters beginning Wednesday, September 4, at noon. Lunch and dinner will be provided to as many as 600 people until the storm passes.

In times of disaster, the best way to help survivors and relief workers is to make a financial contribution. Monetary donations allow disaster responders to immediately meet the specific needs of disaster survivors.
