Staff Report

Monday, October 21st, 2019

The North Augusta Chamber of Commerce’s October Breakfast sponsored by Augusta University’s James M. Hull College of Business, will feature several local organizations and a reflection of the needs in our community.

This breakfast is centered around servant leadership. A servant-leader focuses primarily on the growth and well-being of people and the communities to which they belong. Servant-Leaders shares power, put the needs of others first and helps people develop and perform as highly as possible.

Our Guest Speaker will be Tara Rice Simkins, J.D. Tara is a teacher, writer and co-founder of the Press on Fund. Inspired by her family's journey inside the world of pediatric cancer, Tara shares a unique understanding of what it means to potentially lose something very meaningful in your life, and in the face of such loss, to commit to living an extraordinary life.

Join the North Augusta Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, October 22nd. The Chamber’s Good Morning North Augusta Breakfast will be held at the North Augusta Municipal Building, Palmetto Terrace Ballroom at 7:30AM.
