Southpaw Dustin Tyra Determined to Pitch a Shutout Against Leukemia and Lymphoma

Dustin Tyra is an affable, hard-working,  6-foot 5-inch former left-handed college baseball pitcher who is leading an all-out assault against leukemia and lymphoma in his quest to be the 2020 Man of the Year for the Augusta Chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. “Our team’s goal is to gather the most donation dollars in this year’s drive to fulfill the LLS mission,” explains Dustin. “We are totally committed to helping cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease, and myeloma, and improving the quality of life of patients and their families.”  LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world, provides free information and support services, and is the voice for all blood cancer patients seeking access to quality, affordable, coordinated care.
