Columbia County Planning Services is excited to introduce an enhanced way to stay updated on development projects that are planned for the county.

The Notifications of Public Hearings map, or Development Map, has always provided citizens with the current applications in process, backup material (application, staff reports, project narratives, etc.) and dates for the meeting(s) in which a public hearing will be held. Some of the enhanced features of the map include being able to filter public hearings/development applications by district; providing a list view of items that are either going to the Planning Commission or Board of Commissioners; and a summary count of the items/development proposals.

The Notifications of Public Hearings can be found under the Development, Planning portion of the website (www.columbiacountyga.gov).
