Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau Launches New Website

Wednesday, March 31st, 2021

The Augusta Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB) has launched its new website. The redesigned, VisitAugusta.com, highlights the boldness, diversity, and youthfulness of Augusta’s River Region to align with the recently launched “Come See Augusta” destination marketing campaign.

For the last few months, the CVB has been busy redesigning its website to better serve both locals and visitors alike. The website was designed in keeping with the aesthetic of the “Come See Augusta” campaign, produced by local marketing agency, Wier/Stewart. The new design and navigation are driven by data collected on what visitors are searching for when researching Augusta. It prioritizes those areas of interest to allow for improved functionality, and an overall more user-friendly digital experience.

New tools that visitors will find on the new website are, Yelp integration, a Trip Builder tool that encourages users to create customized travel itineraries, and an extensive filtration system for easier accessibility of business listings while on the site.

"Our goal with this new website is to provide our visitors with an easier way to fully plan and experience Augusta as a destination,” said Bennish Brown, CVB President/CEO. “The new VisitAugusta.com provides an elevated experience while highlighting itineraries curated by a diverse, trusted group of locals, and encourages visitors to build their own itinerary tailored to their interests.”

The new website will be updated regularly with timely revisions as it pertains to local businesses, upcoming events, and general visitor information. Requests for website additions or edits can be made through our online ticket portal by clicking here.
