Augusta Technical College celebrated the 2022 graduating class with an in-person commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 14 at 1pm at the James Brown Arena. This is the first face-to-face commencement ceremony after the pandemic forced the 2020 and 2021 Commencement Ceremonies to be held virtually.

Students from the Adult Education program and Schools of Arts and Sciences; Aviation, Industrial and Engineering Technology; Business; Design and Media; Health Sciences; and Public and Professional Services received their certificates, diplomas, degrees, and were recognized for their academic accomplishments by the Augusta Technical College faculty and staff.

Nearly 400 graduates attended the celebration, with approximately 1500 guests in attendance

Dr. Tony Robinson gave the commencement address and congratulated the graduates for persevering throughout the pandemic. "You developed a dynamic capability. . . the ability to adapt to any situation under any circumstances," stated Dr. Tony Robinson. "You are positioned for long-term success in large part because of the quality of the education that you have received at Augusta Technical College."

"After a three-year hiatus due to COVID-19, Augusta Technical College was delighted to hold our commencement exercises in person this year," stated College President Dr. Jermaine Whirl. "We celebrate all of our graduates, and we know they'll have a significant impact throughout the CSRA."
