Sunbelt Business Brokers announces the sale of Augusta-based Sig Cox Heating and Air Conditioning to JSM Family Holdings Corp. Sig Cox has been a premier provider of residential, commercial and mechanical HVAC services since 1926.

Sig Cox’s former president, John Haynie, whose grandfather Sigman Cox founded the company, has been an employee of Sig Cox for more than 40 years. During his tenure, Haynie helped expand the company into South Carolina, with the addition of the company’s Columbia office, and to Beaufort, with the acquisition of Beaufort Air Conditioning and Heating.

Jeff Miller, the president of JSM, will now lead Sig Cox as its CEO. Miller brings leadership and operations management experience to the company, working in a multitude of roles throughout his career and most recently as an executive with Club Car.
