This week: Music fills the air at the Maxwell Theatre, a yard sale benefits the Ryan White Program and Hull College’s MBA program continues to grow.

One-of-a-kind musical event comes to the Maxwell Theatre

The Maxwell Theatre will host Ensemble 4.1 – Piano Windtet at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28. Augusta University’s Harry Jacobs Chamber Music Society presents this world-class music act that features four wind soloists from top German orchestras and pianist Thomas Hoppe. The society has presented numerous events over the years and this is the latest installment. Ensemble 4.1 – Piano Windtet’s program is titled An American in Paris. Tickets can be purchased here.

Yard sale to benefit the Ryan White Program

Augusta University’s Ryan White Program is hosting the annual “Fall Into Moore With Us” yard sale from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 28 at the Moore Building, 1014 Moore Ave. in Augusta. The event is open to the public and proceeds support the patients and families of the program. The Ryan White program provides HIV/AIDS care for the state’s underrepresented populations through various services. The goal of the program is to provide access to high quality care, regardless of ability to pay.

Augusta University MBA program enrollment continues to increase

The Master of Business Administration program at Augusta University is the hallmark graduate program of the Hull College of Business. A flexible program focused on supporting working professionals, MBA enrollment has increased 31% since fall 2016 – and the program has even more room to grow. The program’s online offering was recently ranked the most affordable online MBA in the nation.

“Since the Augusta market has a large number of working professionals who desire an MBA degree to advance their careers, having the choice of affordable campus and online options allows them to choose the program that best fits their circumstances and allows them to keep working while getting their degrees,” said Rick Franza, PhD, dean of Hull Colege.
