The Augusta University Literacy Center is partnering with Augusta Technical College to offer free adult education classes starting January 5, 2023.

Every Tuesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. students can take advantage of Adult Literacy and High School Equivalency Preparation courses at the HUB for Community Innovation.

“We are so excited to announce this partnership with Augusta Technical College, who will bring their expertise with adult learners to the Augusta University Literacy Center and the HUB for Community Innovation. We look forward to hosting these classes at the Center and continuing to learn from our Augusta Tech partners,” said Dr. Betsy VanDeusen, director of the AU Literacy Center.

"Augusta Technical College is proud to collaborate with Augusta University's Literacy Center at the HUB," stated Angela Moseley, Dean of Adult Education at Augusta Technical College. "This is a wonderful opportunity for Adult Literacy Students. Students will not only have access to an education, but they will also have access to wrap-around services, all in one location. We are very excited about this partnership and the potential it has to positively affect families as a whole."

To sign-up for these courses, students may register at the Augusta Technical College Adult Education Office on the Augusta Campus located in Building 300 or email [email protected] to register online.
