The Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) is pleased to announce, effective February 3, 2023, a time schedule change to the American Airlines Washington, D.C. (DCA) to Augusta Regional Airport (AGS) flight. This new schedule consists of an early morning (7:36am) departure from AGS and a late evening (10:45pm) arrival back at AGS. This flight typically takes about one hour flying time.

“We are very pleased with this new schedule and believe it will allow more local travelers to benefit from this convenient direct flight” said Herbert L. Judon Jr., Airport’s Executive Director.

“In general, we feel it will enhance the overall attractiveness and quality of the AGS to DCA service. Some beneficial example scenarios are as follows:

1) From Augusta, you can arrive in the National Capital Region in the early morning, conduct a full day’s business agenda, and return on the same day.

2) Allows full days (in Washington) for multi-day trips.

3) For individuals that use DCA to connect, this earlier schedule will increase flexibility and flight options.”
