Judge Ashley Moore, Jr. Joins Augusta Technical College Board of Directors

Augusta Technical College is pleased to announce that Judge Ashley Moore, Jr. has been elected to the Augusta Technical College Board of Directors.

Judge Moore is a Burke County Probate Court Judge/Associate Magistrate Court Judge with over five years of judicial experience in presiding over hearings, analyzing complex legal issues, and making impartial decisions in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.

Prior to becoming a probate judge, Moore served as an associate magistrate judge in the Burke County Magistrate Court. 

"One of the highest honors that one can have is to serve in the community that has nurtured and fostered him for all of his life. It is truly an honor and a blessing to serve in the community where I was born," stated Judge Moore.

He also holds the distinction of being an Augusta Tech Alumnus. He is dedicated to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in the pursuit of justice for all.

Judge Moore believes in being active in local schools and frequently visits with students in the local school system. Moore has faithfully served on various boards throughout the years, including the Center for New Beginnings Board of Directors, the Waynesboro-Burke Concert Series, Parent Advisory Council for Waynesboro Primary School, Burke County Middle School and Burke County High School, as well as the State Superintendent of Education's Parent Advisory Board, and Burke County Health Foundation's Board of Directors, to name a few.
