Mark Your Calendars: CSRA College Night Returns to Augusta, Sept. 11

-12th grade students will have a unique opportunity to meet
recruiters from over 100 colleges and universities and the chance to win scholarships totaling $15,000
at one of the Southeast’s largest college recruitment events. The 2025 CSRA College Night will be held
on Thursday, Sept. 11, 5-8 p.m., at the Augusta Convention Center. Admission and parking are free
and open to the public.
CSRA College Night has served tens of thousands of participants and awarded over $400,000 in scholarships since 1993.
“We are excited to continue this tradition that attracts thousands of students and families from Georgia
and South Carolina each year,” said Cindy Hewitt, Savannah River Nuclear Solutions (SRNS)
Education Outreach Specialist. “With $15,000 in scholarships up for grabs, seminars, career
exploration, and counseling centers all under one roof, this event is a wonderful resource for students
and parents.”
What You Can Expect:
• Colleges and Professional Societies: Meet hundreds of representatives from colleges,
universities, and technical schools from across the U.S. Connect with local professional
societies in the fields of engineering, management, chemical and nuclear science.
• Financial Aid: Obtain details on scholarships, financial aid requirements for SC and GA, and
attend financial literacy seminars.
• Counseling Center: Seek advice on the college application process from high school advisors
and admissions professionals.
• Career Exploration: Engage in career interest "card sorting" to help validate career choices.
• Scholarship Drawing: High school seniors can register in person for a chance to win a $1,000
scholarship. To qualify, seniors must graduate with a GPA of 2.5 or above.
Entering its third decade, CSRA College Night has served tens of thousands of participants and
awarded over $400,000 in scholarships since 1993. The continued success of this event is made
possible by the generosity of sponsors and the dedication of hundreds of SRS volunteers. Event
sponsors include the U.S. Department of Energy-Savannah River Operations Office, SRNS, SRS
Centerra, SRP Federal Credit Union, Aiken County Public School District, Public Education Partners of
Aiken County, and iHeart Media Augusta.
