Popular Barnwell Business Expands into North Augusta with Downtown Retail Outlet

It’s a distinct earthy-sweet scent that permeates downtown North Augusta’s newest shop.
Lavender.
"It is an amazing herb. You can do everything from cook with it to repel bugs. It doesn't get any more versatile than that,” Elinor Poole said.
Poole is the one who runs the store, Crown & Lavender by King George Lavender.
It’s an extension of Barnwell’s popular lavender farm and wedding venue, and the North Augusta outlet opened at 507B Georgia Ave. on May 2.
