In the ever-changing world of technology, businesses are trying to keep pace with latest telecommunications trends to remain efficient and productive.

“Small and medium-sized businesses need the same advanced and reliable communication solutions as large companies, but without the high costs or frustrating complexity,” said IntelliSystems CEO Kevin Wade.

“In addition, technology is changing so fast that if they haven’t had a telecommunications professional evaluate their current telephone system and telephone service provider, they may be overpaying for their telecommunications needs.”

To help one small business in the CSRA (Central Savannah River Area) with its telecommunications needs, IntelliSystems will award a state-of-the-art Avaya business phone system as part of its Extreme Phone Makeover Contest, which runs through May 22, 2015.

“The Extreme Phone Makeover Contest hopefully allows us to introduce many business customers to the telecommunications systems offered by IntelliSystems," said Wade. "We want to help their businesses get more than just voice mail and dial tone.”

Wade explains that the IntelliSystems team of professionals can help businesses create accountability within their organizations and track calls from “cradle to grave.” Telecommunications systems are available to provide employees the flexibility to work from home, multiple office locations, on the road, and even connect business locations together.

“We can develop a plan that eliminates ‘phone tag’ by creating ultimate accessibility for company employees,” he said.

Wade emphasizes IntelliSystems rapid response of 60 minutes or less for most technology problems helps businesses remain productive.

“We use a proactive approach to leveraging a variety of tools to manage client IT systems resulting in less ‘fixing’ of recurring problems that rob organizations of employee productivity,” said Wade. “IntelliSystems has expertise in business IT services, telecommunication systems, cabling and wireless contracting, cloud services, and backup and disaster recovery management.”

With offices in Augusta, Ga., and Aiken and Columbia, S.C., IntelliSystems is focused on being the information technology department for small to mid-size businesses.

“IntelliSystems strives to be a one-call resource for IT management, technical support, and telephone communications,” said Wade.

Representatives from small to mid-size businesses in the CSRA* can enter the Extreme Phone Makeover Contest online at www.intelliSystems.com/Makeover.  On May 29, a panel of judges will select a winner based on need and originality of each entry. The winning business will receive an Avaya IP Office phone system, with a retail value up to $10,000.

On May 14, IntelliSystems and Avaya are also sponsoring a Lunch and Learn event to answer questions and provide information on what the Avaya IP Office phone systems have to offer.

“This will be an opportunity for company decision makers to register for the contest," Wade said. "Plus, see some of the technology first-hand and to learn how it can improve their business’ productivity.”
