Victoria Hann has been contracted by the ForcesUnited board of directors to serve as interim president and CEO while a professional search is being conducted.
Hann is the managing director of VGC Green Development. She has more than 23 years’ experience in senior management roles with nonprofit organizations, from newly created nonprofits to strategically renewed organizations with revived missions.
“Victoria’s extensive nonprofit leadership experience will be an asset to ForcesUnited as we continue to provide help on the home front to veterans, active military and their families,” said Sam Tyson, the chairman of the ForcesUnited board of directors.
Her experience includes working with local, national and international nonprofit and for-profit organizations serving the healthcare, education and economic development fields.
“We have a strong internal team who continue to focus their talents and energies in delivering service to our veterans,” Hann said. “My position as interim is to support their work and ultimately the positive impact on our veterans in need. I am focused on connecting our community investors to the continued value and impact of this organization.”
Hann has a graduate degree in public administration, focused on nonprofit management, from Clemson University. A CFRS International Certified Fund Raising Executive, Hann also teaches part-time for Clemson’s MPA graduate program.
Kim Elle, who recently retired after leading ForcesUnited for six years of successful growth and rebranding, will serve as a consultant through September.
